When pages change materially, update this file. --- ## About RepoSwitch RepoSwitch is an Australian store for pre-owned Nintendo Switch games, run by Jay, based in Sydney (Repo Switch NSW 2049) and posting Australia-wide. Jay also built the site, to make buying, swapping and selling quick. We buy games from people done with them, check them, and sell or swap them to people who want to play next. RepoSwitch is a store, not a marketplace: we own the stock and handle every order ourselves. There is no shop front and no set hours; handovers are arranged by text or email. Three ways to use RepoSwitch: 1. **Swap** — send games you've played and get ones you haven't, in one order with one amount: pay only the extra, or we pay you the rest. 2. **Buy** — buy a pre-owned game outright. Every game you get from us is covered by No Regret Swap. 3. **Trade-In** — sell games you've finished for cash. --- ## No Regret Swap (NRS) Every game you get from RepoSwitch, bought or swapped, can be swapped for another at the full price you paid. - **Window:** 3 days from collecting it, or 6 days from the day we post it (calendar days). If a parcel is slow, contact us and we extend it. - **Pricing:** what you paid counts in full towards the game you pick. If it costs more you pay the extra; if it costs less, the rest comes back as Repo Credits. - **Not a refund:** there is no money back for a change of mind. - **Rules:** the game must come back as you got it (case, artwork, no damage). It works once per game: a game you got through No Regret Swap doesn't get a window of its own. Preorders and backorders are not covered, and it doesn't combine with other promotions. - **With other games:** a No Regret Swap game goes towards the first game added to get; other games sent can go towards the same game or the rest of the swap. - **Postage:** by post, the game got with No Regret Swap doesn't count towards free shipping; when only No Regret Swap games are sent, our prepaid postage costs the Standard post price unless it is the account's first parcel to us, or the customer posts them. No Regret Swap keeps the account's benefits and joins no other offer. - **Guests** are covered too: sign up free with the same email to link the order, or email info@reposwitch.com.au with the order number before the window ends. --- ## How Swap Works A Swap is a trade-in and a purchase settled as one order. Every game you send has a swap value (what it counts for today). Add up what you get, take away what you send, and that is the one amount for the order: pay only the extra, or we pay you the rest. When the two match it's a "Just Swap", with nothing to pay. The checkout always shows the final amount before you pay. On /swap: tap Swap on the games you want, flip the search box to "You send" and tap the games you're sending; the preview shows one amount. In the shop, "⇄ Swap within $X" under a game's price is the most it costs when you send one game worth enough. **Handing over (chosen at checkout):** - **Local Swap** at Repo Switch NSW 2049: after you order we arrange a time; your item is checked with you and you leave with ours. Pay by card or PayPal online, or in person at the handover. - **Post Swap**, anywhere in Australia, with two plans: - **Send yours first:** pay the extra plus postage, by card. We post ours once yours passes our check and ours is in; if yours doesn't pass, the order is cancelled and refunded. - **Get yours now:** pay the full price of our game plus postage, by card or PayPal. Ours ships straight away and we pay you your game's value once it passes; if it doesn't, you keep ours, we don't pay for yours, and we arrange its return with you. - Our prepaid Australia Post postage is free for a swap during our introductory offer: a QR code to show at any post office (valid for 4 days), or a label you print. When every game sent is a No Regret Swap game, it costs the Standard post price unless it is the account's first parcel to us. You can also post it yourself. - A swap for a preorder or backorder is Send yours first, needs a free account and is open until 7 days before the game's date: post your game, or drop it off at Repo Switch NSW 2049; ours is posted to you, or collected there, when it's in. Pay by card, or in person when you drop your game off. When your games are worth more, we pay you the rest by Repo Credits, PayID or PayPal (Repo Credits need a free account). A game you get in a swap comes with No Regret Swap. You can send working Switch games in their original case with the cover artwork, and swap-ready accessories; see Games You Send Us. --- ## How Trade-In Works Trade-In is selling games to RepoSwitch for cash. **Getting a price:** - **One photo:** photograph up to 10 games (boxed copies or a stack of spines). Each is recognised and priced at today's value, and you confirm which are yours. A photo quote can be held for 72 hours. - **The trade-in list:** search it and tap Trade-in. A game marked "Quote" has no price today: tap it and we set one, typically within 24 hours. A quoted price lasts 3 days. - **A mixed pile** of games and accessories: send one photo and we text or email one offer for the lot. No account is needed to submit; an email is. Several games go in one trade-in and add up to one payout. **Getting the games to us:** - **Drop-Off** at Repo Switch NSW 2049: we contact you to arrange a time, check the games with you and pay on the spot, in cash or by PayID. - **Mail-In:** our prepaid Australia Post QR code is emailed within 1 business day and is valid for 4 days. It's free with 3 or more games, or for your first one when you're signed in; otherwise the fee comes off your payout and is shown before you submit. Or post them yourself to PO Box 86, Petersham NSW 2049. We pay by PayID, bank transfer or PayPal once every game has arrived and been checked. **What we take:** games and accessories on our trade-in list. A game has to be complete: a working cartridge in its original case; no loose cartridges. A trade-in pays cash, not store credit. The prices shown when you submit are the offer, confirmed when we check each game (see Games You Send Us). --- ## Preorders & backorders - **Preorder** = not out yet (the date is release day); **Backorder** = out of stock and expected in (the date is when we expect it). *Arriving soon* = the date has passed and the copies aren't in. - Buying one: paid in full online (card, PayPal or Repo Credits); no change-of-mind cancellation; the price is set when ordered; coupons, Repo Credits and free Standard postage over $100 apply; no limit per customer; items can't be added to a placed order. - Swapping for one: Send yours first, signed-in customers only; the swap price is locked when paid; open until 7 days before the date, so the customer's game can reach us and pass our check before ours goes out (from 7 days out, or once the date has passed, only buying is open); the game is posted (prepaid QR code or label), or a time to drop it off at Repo Switch NSW 2049 is arranged, within 4 days of paying; ours is posted or collected when it's in; paid by card, or in person at a drop-off. - Shipping: a preorder goes out on release day, never earlier; a backorder when it arrives; an order with one ships together for one postage charge; backorders are filled in the order placed. - If we can't get it: cancelled with the full amount back the way it was paid; an accepted swap game is kept and its locked-in value paid by PayID or as Repo Credits. Dates can change; customers are emailed; the price doesn't change. No Regret Swap doesn't apply. - Out-of-stock games: a signed-in customer can ask us to backorder it (Let me know); not an order; we email the price and the date if we can get it. --- ## Version, Condition & Cover Art Each version of a game on its product page carries up to three labels (https://reposwitch.com.au/game-guide): - **Language:** "English" means it can be played in English (it may be a US, European, Australian or Asian print; a particular print is not promised unless the listing says so). A badge such as "Japanese" or "Chinese / Japanese" lists the languages it plays in, and English is not one of them. - **Condition:** **Standard** — pre-owned or opened, with its original case and cartridge; every pre-owned game is checked to read and start up when it comes into stock. **Cartridge Only** — just the cartridge: no case, manual or artwork; usually a little cheaper. **New** — brand new and unused, may not be factory-sealed; new copies are not opened to check. - **Cover:** "JP / CN / KR Cover" means the box artwork is in Japanese, Chinese or Korean; no badge means English box art. The cover does not change the game: go by the language badge. - Games customers send in (swap or trade-in) need their original case, so Cartridge Only copies are sold but not taken in. --- ## Shipping & Delivery - **Posted:** every order goes tracked with Australia Post, anywhere in Australia (PO Boxes and parcel lockers included; nothing overseas). Standard is free on orders of $100 or more before postage; Express always has its fee. Fees are shown at checkout. Tracking is emailed once posted; delivery time is Australia Post's for the postcode. - **Post Swap:** the games you get count towards the $100. - **Local Pickup:** free, from Repo Switch NSW 2049. No shop and no set hours: when the order is ready we text or email and agree a time and place. Pay online, or in person when you collect (cash, card or PayID). - **Preorders** (upcoming releases) are posted, or can be collected, once released; **Backorders** (out-of-stock games ordered before they're back) once they arrive. An order with one ships together once everything in it is in, for one postage charge, and shows the expected date. Buying a preorder or backorder is paid online at checkout; a swap for one with Local Drop-off can be paid at the drop-off. - **Sending games to us:** the Post Swap label is free (preorders and backorders included), except a parcel of No Regret Swap games alone, priced as a trade-in label; the trade-in label is free with 3 or more games or for a signed-in first label, otherwise its fee comes off the payout. - Questions about a delivery: info@reposwitch.com.au or 0435 840 844. --- ## Returns & Refunds - **Changed your mind:** use No Regret Swap. There is no money back for a change of mind. - **Faulty, wrong item, or not as described:** email info@reposwitch.com.au within 7 days of getting it, with the order number, a photo and what's wrong. We send return instructions, with a prepaid label where it was posted; send it back within 7 days of getting them. Once it arrives and we've checked it, we refund the full amount within 5 business days. No restocking fee. - **Preorders and backorders:** once paid, not cancelled for a change of mind. If we can't get it, we cancel it and refund the full amount the way it was paid; a customer swapping who hasn't sent their game yet doesn't send it. On a swap, if the customer's game has already been accepted, we keep it, refund what was paid the way it was paid, and pay the game's locked-in value by PayID or as Repo Credits. The price is set when the order is placed. - **Refunds** go back the way you paid (card or PayPal to the same account; PayID or bank transfer to your bank account). Repo Credits used come back as credits. - Every pre-owned game is checked to read and start up when it comes into stock. New copies are unused and not opened; they may not be factory-sealed. - Nothing here limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law. --- ## Games You Send Us The standards for every game a customer sends or brings, in a swap or a trade-in (Terms of Service, https://reposwitch.com.au/terms#games-you-send). The former Swap & Trade-In Policy page was retired on 2026-09-29 and redirects there. - Each game must come in its original case (games without one are not accepted), work (the cartridge reads and starts up), and be free of cracks, warping, heavy scratches and modification. Light wear from normal use may be acceptable. - Every game is checked on arrival; the price or swap value shown at order time is confirmed only after that check. - A damaged or non-original case: RepoSwitch may take $5 per game off its value. Any other problem: the game is not accepted, and the customer collects it from Repo Switch NSW 2049 or it is posted back at the customer's cost. --- ## Privacy Policy - **Collected:** name, email, phone and address; orders, wishlist and messages; payout details for trade-ins and swaps (PayID, bank account or PayPal email) and uploaded payment receipts; photos of games sent for quotes; site usage (pages, clicks, device, IP address) including session recordings with form inputs hidden; chat assistant and feedback messages. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never seen or kept. No ID documents or dates of birth. - **Used for:** running orders and payouts, order emails and one review request after an order, perks emails only with opt-in, fixing errors, improving the site, preventing fraud, business and tax records. - **Handled by:** the services that help run the store: payments (Stripe, PayPal), website and database, email delivery, analytics and error reports, an AI service for photo quotes and the chat assistant, team messaging, and Australia Post for labels. The database is in Sydney; some services store information overseas, mainly in the United States. Information is not sold. - **Rights:** see or correct details on the Dashboard; email info@reposwitch.com.au to see, correct or delete; unsubscribe from perks emails any time; complaints can go to the OAIC. --- ## Terms of Service - **Orders** depend on stock; an order can be cancelled for a stock or pricing error or suspected fraud, with a full refund (a partly unavailable order is refunded for that part). Once paid, a preorder or backorder is not cancelled for a change of mind. - **Payment:** swaps by card, PayPal or in person (Post Swap by card, or PayPal with Get yours now); purchases by card, PayPal, PayID, bank transfer or in person at Local Pickup. A preorder or backorder is bought online in full (card, PayPal or Repo Credits), and swapped for by card, or in person at a Local Drop-off.
