01 / Pick your console
Start from the console you want
On the home page, tap Start swap on the Console Swap card. In the shop, tap Swap a console for this on a console's card or its page.
It goes into You get on the swap page, and You send opens on Consoles.
02 / You send
Add your console, then your games
Tap your console on the Consoles tab. Its swap value comes off straight away, the same for everyone: no membership needed.
Then tap Add games. Every game you send takes off more, and it's still one order, one amount.
03 / Console Check
Two questions about your console
Is it in good working order? No scratches or cracks on the screen, no stick drift, and it comes with both Joy-Con, the dock and the power adapter, all working.
Is everything else there? Tick the small pieces you're bringing. Each one missing (the HDMI cable, the Joy-Con grip, the straps) takes $5 off, and we replace it.
Last, one tick above Confirm: it's your console, your answers are accurate, and you agree to the Console Swap Terms.
04 / Meet in person
Local Swap or Home Swap
Local Swap in NSW 2049: once you've confirmed your swap, we'll be in touch to arrange a time to come in.
Home Swap: we come to you, in eligible postcodes.
Either way, you pay in person when we swap. A console never goes by post.
05 / On the day
What happens when we meet
We check it with you. The screen, the buttons and sticks, and that it turns on and charges.
Then we reset it together. Once it passes, we remove your Nintendo Account and reset it to factory settings with you. Move your data off it before we meet: how to move your data.
You're 18 or over, or have a parent or guardian with you. We may ask to see photo ID in the name on the order: we look at it, and we don't keep a copy.
If it doesn't pass, it stays with you as it is, and the swap doesn't go ahead.
Good to know
Can I sell you my console?
No. We can't buy consoles or accessories, for cash or Repo Credits. You can swap them: a console towards another console, an accessory towards anything in the shop.
What if my console is worth more than the one I pick?
A swap with a console or accessory can't end with money or Repo Credits coming back to you. Add more to You get to use up the rest. Same value on both sides? That's fine: there's nothing to pay.
What does a Switch Lite need?
A Lite has no dock and no detachable Joy-Con, so it comes with its power adapter, and every button and both sticks must work.
Can I swap accessories?
Yes, swap only, like a console: an accessory you send counts towards anything in the shop. Nothing of its value comes back as money or Repo Credits.
